Common questions about CPD requirements, enrolment, payment, attendance and certification. Regulatory details may change, so please also refer to the official CEA CPD Course Directory.
How many CPD training hours do I need each year?
Each CPD cycle runs from 1 January to 31 December. To renew registration, Real Estate Salespersons (RES), KEOs and practising directors complete a minimum of 16 training hours per cycle: 12 hours of Structured Learning (4 Prescribed Essentials and 8 Professional Competencies) and 4 hours of Self-directed Learning. New Real Estate Salespersons are exempt in their first CPD cycle.
Are your courses recognised for CPD?
AsianPrime Capital Pte Ltd is a CEA-licensed Estate Agent (Licence No. L3011010B) and a CPD Course Provider. Course recognition, CPD category and training hours are subject to the applicable CEA course approval and listing status. Please refer to the official CEA CPD Course Directory for recognised Structured Learning CPD courses.
How much do the courses cost?
Our CPD courses are S$100 per lesson. Each lesson is a focused, trainer-led session conducted live online.
Are classes online or in person?
All current courses are conducted online, live and trainer-led via Zoom. Self-paced eCPD e-learning through Real Estate Academy is coming soon.
Who conducts the training?
Training is conducted by AsianPrime Capital and led by Martin Koh, Co-Founder, Managing Director and Head of Training. Real Estate Academy is AsianPrime Capital's learning technology and e-learning platform.
Do you offer consultancy as well as CPD training?
Yes. Alongside CPD training, we support Estate Agencies with consultancy in data protection, AML/CFT, workflow, operations, SOPs and training systems. See the Consultancy page or send us an enquiry.
How do I register and pay?
Open a course, click Register and complete the short form. Your invoice and payment instructions are emailed to you straight away. Pay by PayNow by scanning the QR code, which fills in the amount and your invoice number (for example APCINV260001) as the payment reference. You can also pay by bank transfer, using the same invoice number as the reference. Payment is detected automatically and your receipt usually arrives within about 15 minutes, so there is no need to send us a screenshot. Your place is confirmed once payment is received.
When will I receive my Zoom link?
About 3 days before the course, we email you to confirm that it is going ahead. Your Zoom joining link and instructions are emailed about 1 day before the course, and a reminder with the link is sent 3 hours before it starts. If you book within these periods, you receive them as soon as your payment is confirmed. You do not need to register on Zoom: we register you automatically and email you a personal Join Class link, so please book using your full name exactly as in your NRIC and your correct CEA Registration No.
Can I use SkillsFuture Credit or NTUC UTAP?
Not at this time. Our courses are not currently eligible for SkillsFuture Credit or NTUC UTAP funding. We will update this page if that changes.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Course fees are non-refundable. If you tell us in writing at least 7 days before the course, you can transfer once to another session of the same course held within 6 months, subject to seats. Requests made less than 7 days before the course are not eligible for a refund or transfer, except in exceptional circumstances at our discretion. If we cancel a course, you can choose a transfer to another session or a full refund. Please see our Refund Policy for details.
I left the industry. Can I attend to make up my CPD hours before I re-register?
Yes. Under CEA's rules, if you left the industry within the last 2 years, you must complete the full CPD training hours for each CPD cycle you missed (16 hours a cycle: 4 Prescribed Essentials, 8 Professional Competencies and 4 Self-directed Learning) before you apply to register again. When you book, tick "I am a returning salesperson"; your CEA Registration No. and agency are then optional. We upload your Structured Learning attendance to CEA's CPD System (CPDS) under your NRIC. Self-directed Learning hours are verified and uploaded by the estate agency you are joining. You can check the hours you still need in CPDS. If you left more than 2 years ago, CEA requires you to pass the RES examination instead.
Do I need to keep my camera on?
Yes. Please keep your camera on for the full session, with your face clearly visible. This is required for your attendance to be recognised for CPD. Your Zoom display name must be your full name exactly as in your NRIC, the same name as your booking.
How is my attendance recorded and submitted to CEA?
We record attendance for each session and submit your Structured Learning attendance to CEA's CPD System (CPDS). Please register with your full name exactly as in your NRIC and your correct CEA Registration No., so your hours are credited correctly. Please join on time: if you miss more than 15 minutes, at the start or during the class, CPD hours cannot be awarded. After the course you must also complete CEA's feedback form in CPDS before your CPD hours are counted.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. After the course we submit your attendance to CEA and email you a reminder to complete CEA's feedback form in CPDS. Once your feedback is completed, we email you your Certificate of Attendance. A certificate is issued only for full attendance with your camera on and accurate registration details.
